It is the responsibility of a Mounted Shooting Range Master to check gates to make sure all are closed, insure target setters, spectators and gatekeepers are on the outside of the arena or in a safe location, confirm the course is set with 10 inflated targets in the correct location and make sure the timer is working and ready. Once this important checklist is complete, the Range Master will alert the competitor that it is safe to engage the course by changing the Stop & Go Light from Red to Green.
